Leaving Kangiqsujuaq, Nunavik. And first glimpse of trees, just north of Kuujjuaq.

Low cumulus over tundra and lakes. The trees are hard to see— they are Tamaracks, which turn yellow-brown in the fall, and blend in with the brown tundra. The trees are in low protected spots and are only 20-30 feet tall.

I think these might be nice mushrooms. They’re cuddled up with a chunk of Quartz hundreds if feet up a cliff on the tundra near Kangiqsujuaq, Nunavik.
