One thing to note: while we should prepare for a future of more extreme precipitation events, we also need to do a better job preparing for the type of extremes we have seen in the past. We need better climate adaptation, not just climate change adaptation.
I believe it is high time to hold all climate change denialists and those who during the last 40 years opposed efforts to get rid of fossil fuels accountable.
