New from me: Harris’ latest economic policy really clarified something for me about her and Trump’s pitches to voters www.msnbc.com/opinion/msnb...

As she is showcasing her economic vision, she is also providing a stark contrast to her opponent.
If we were to put their differences in Econ 101 terms, we would start with the point that Trump is obsessed with the macroeconomics, big-picture, 10,000-foot view of the economy. His is the worldview of someone who has known only wealth and comfort. Harris, who stresses her middle-class roots, is taking the opposite approach by going all in on a microeconomic pitch to Americans. She's highlighting the ways her presidency would touch people's daily lives and ease the financial pressures that consume so many of us.

But he's the only one who can do it, only him, he's the savior, everybody else is low IQ but him, he's the biggest brained individual to ever live.

interesting! in a speech of trump’s that i sadly read, he uses his “ideas” for tax cuts on tips, car loans, social security, as a way to message care for normal people economically. i don’t think they’d pass, they’d also drain tax revenues for services people need — but his message got thru imo

When on the one hand you have Harris talking about expanding elder care and on the other you have Trump’s “oops all tariffs” disaster in waiting, that speaks to two extremely different ways of understanding — and communicating to voters about — the economy

Opinion | The distinction between Trump's and Harris' economic vision couldn’t be clearer

Vice President Kamala Harris has been rolling out policies that would help middle-class Americans, while Donald Trump has been focused on the upper class.

Macroeconomics, but holding the book upside down.
