In his immunity court filing, TFG said the 𝘛𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘊𝘢𝘳𝘦 clause compels him to interfere in state run elections. But SCOTUS & Smith said the executive branch doesn’t have responsibilities in elections. Spanky thinks the 𝘛𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘊𝘢𝘳𝘦 clause gives him power over things he has nothing to do with.

The Constitution doesn’t say that a president shall execute the laws, but that “he shall take care that the laws be faithfully executed” by others. IOW- a president can’t breach federal law or order subordinates to do so because defiance isn’t faithful execution. Chutkan will have to sort it out.
