The first time I was admitted to a psych hospital I learned there was a kids unit and it broke my heart. I made these coloring pages for the staff to copy and give to the kids and they were super touched. It was a very good thing that came from a sad time. Unprompted kindness heals.

I spent almost half my childhood in and out of those units. They're misused soooooo often. Abuse is also rampant in them, at least here in Wisconsin.

Thank you so much for doing that, my little brother was hospitalized for a couple of weeks as a kid and he would have really appreciated that kindness!
