Some European hostels have private rooms and can be ok. I stayed in one in Rome a couple years ago that was fine and lots of older people were there too.

Was thinking about when I read some explanatory copy at a museum exhibit that touched on some social issues. Guess it was too "woke" for the people in front of me, who said something like "[issue] is only a problem if you define it as one." Maybe that's how all these Trumpers go through life?
yeah, it's tough being given free food, lots of toys, a warm place to sleep, and cuddles on demand! 🤣 (To be fair they're still not that into the cuddles, but I'm working on it.)

I would go to this neighborhood more often if it were easier to get to by bike from the east. It's really a nightmare because of the Metra tracks that eliminate potentially safer routes.
