Personally find it pretty concerning but mainly sad that these online spaces are now ‘a thing’, and what that both says about and means for universities overall… I’m an ex-Aberystwyth student and the thought of this being an option for my parents back then isn’t great…

This is really interesting - what is it, a Facebook group? And what does it advertise as its purpose? (I don’t think my parents ever had a single word of communication with any of my fellow students’ parents!)

Feels like the natural progression for parents who have been part of school WhatsApp groups for the last however many years, but it's deeply weird at uni level
