NWS Corpus Christi allowed a heat warning to go through the night during our recent episode of 109F pm heat with low/mid 70’s dewpoints in recognition of the dangers posed in housing without a/c during nighttime hours where it would still be ~100F at midnight, >90F all night indoors. Glad to see.

To be clear, they recognized that indoors in housing without a/c likely met the warning threshold HI, even though it would not be meeting the threshold outdoors during those nights.
