My conclusion here is, these countries have socialized medicine and stricter laws on what passes as 'food'. Americans, bankrupt from uncovered healthcare costs from diseases caused by the 'food' they allow corporations to sell us.
It's not so much what you eat, as how much you eat. Eat stuff that looks like it was produced by Nature. Don't eat stuff that looks like it came off a factory production line.

Ultra processed food consumption. Seed oil consumption. Constant triggering of the Randle Cycle via combining carbs/glucose and fats. Inflammation which forms artery plaques. Both Japan and France consume less UPF at least. Britain and the US consume a lot of it daily. Nutrition study sure is hard
