How is this any different from any other ignorant individual from anywhere in the country? We hear the same kind of rhetoric anywhere, any day.
I’m not familiar with this particular standard, but I’m general I do think there needs to be a set of controls in place, tested by a third party, depending on the data it handles/manages and other access it has (ie it depends on risk and the user’s risk tolerance and capacity).

That said, I don’t blame this dev either. I wouldn’t want to deal with this.

Unfortunately in our current political landscape, IMO it’s not worth the threat to post a sign anymore.
The value isn’t there for many people. I’m not opposed to paying, but each person will decide if the cost is worth it.
Not his fault though, as I’m sure he’d be happy to explain. 😂
