NaNoWriMo Day 1 Complete. Anyone else attempting it this year?
Opinions wanted. Help a fellow nerd out:
I’m obsessed with shows like Xena, Good Omens and Our Flag Means Death. I think it’s because… SPOILER WARNING … they really focus on building the friendship first and then it grows into more. Any recommendations for books, movies, and series that are similar and the relationship gets to happen?

Sometimes I have cringe attacks, remembering past shit I did but then I realize the only reason why I feel bad is because I learned something and am not that same person, making those same choices any more.
Another 6 hours of heavy yard work (stump removal, raking, removing old debris from previous owners, like tires and furniture) resulting in almost 5 miles of movement. I just view it as cross training and part of marathon prep.
It’s Sept so I’m back in study mode after spending a few weeks completing some hefty work and personal landscaping projects. I also finished paying off a credit card. My food is crap though. I wish I could manage it along with other things. I’m worried I will never overcome my food issues.
Another 6 hours in the yard today. I saw the crow again perched up on the street light at the end of the driveway. I said hello and dropped raw peanuts in the yard and the driveway while he watched. He few away without trying them but he did seem to take an interest in me while I spoke.
