The exaggerated voice was a little hokey (annoying), but Peter was nothing if not polite. He supposes the appeal is for a younger audience anyhow. Watching the pen deflate into a sad sag made something stir in him. A grin wobbled to life on his face and bounced with the puffing giggles he held in.
