Also, one more detail, the Russians will use S400 and S500 to take down any ballistic nuclear missile fired from Syria. The Israeli Jericho is an old ballistic missile, single trajectory, S400 and S500 can defend against these with relative ease (ofc still hard but). Jets will go up for it as well

Sorry not fired from Syria, fired from Israel, but the S400 would be in Syria, or Iran or nearby anyway, they have large range and can go over the radar with awacs etc.

Do you remember the story after the first performative Iranian strike? It was said by diplomats from Asian countries that Russia already took out a jet from Syria that was heading to Iran. They said it carried a nuke but I think that was speculative, I believe Jericho is a tube launched nuke.
