11. The Polar Express (Tom Hanks; 2004) My son loves this one. I think it’s weird. But I do like it at the end when he finally hears the bell. 🔔
Sssshhhhh. It’s called “the willing suspension of disbelief.” The whole system falls apart without it. 😄
10. How the Grinch Stole Christmas (Boris Karloff; 1966) I wouldn’t touch you with a 39 and a half foot pole.
I suspect they won’t see a single penny.
9. Home Alone (Macaulay Culkin, Joe Pesci, Catherine O’Hara; 1990) Now that my son is home from his first semester of college we’ll be watching more of these. For whatever reason, the older I get the more I enjoy this goofy movie.
8. Elf (Will Ferrell, Zooey Deschanel, James Caan; 2003) Twenty years ago?!? TWENTY?!?!?
Waiting for the Republicans here in MO to tell me I’m going to jail for having a hysterectomy a few years ago.
7. The Muppet Christmas Carol (Michael Caine, Kermit, The Great Gonzo; 1992) Is there anything better? (No.)
6. The Man Who Invented Christmas (Dan Stevens, Jonathan Pryce; 2017) The story of Dickens writing A Christmas Carol. Kind of an interesting take on the story, and Christopher Plummer turns up as Scrooge.
