Yep, you're right. Big disappointment for me was going back to have fun conversations with my friends again only to find that while nobody jumped, they also checked out and only use the site to self promo. There are no fun conversations anymore. Quote Retweets are as close as they got in the end.
That's some of it, but there are also *specific* people I wanted to keep in interaction with, but they never really moved over. Some created an account but never actually showed up. I need more of my friends to decide to stay.
The problem is that British humour looks so effortless that it inspires people by making them think they can do it too. See also: Tarantino, Quentin
HI MEGAN
I suspect so too. I hate that I went back myself but too many people I wanted to keep up with didn't leave. Already I see some people I know coming over and I just hope they keep engaged here. I think this might be my last shot. I don't want to go back again.
I thought we all agreed to never be creative again!
Welcome!
Hi friend!
Also, hi!!
I'd like to be optimistic. I think the first attempt at exodus got thwarted because of the limited invitations at the time. Many people who wanted to come over weren't even allowed and most of them gave up, I guess.
