Total tangent, but I heard some time old time radio today, must have been the radio adaptation of the movie of Shane. There was a Swedish shopkeeper with that exact accent, and it occurred to me that I have never in my life heard an actual Swede sound like that. Did that accent die?

I work for a Swedish company and I can say the Swedes HATE that accent and find it wrong. So naturally I use it all the time to torture them.
