I started reading your article with a "come on, it can't be that bad!" sceptical expression on my face, and I finished it with an "oh." expression on my face. I didn't remember it being like that, but then I was a different person 25 years ago.

If it makes you feel better, I spent a lot of my playthrough trying to tell myself it surely wasn't that bad and I was just overreacting :/
