I love trains

I loved learning all the invaluable train travel topics in Icelandic on the Drops app! 😂 No use on the island of course, but if I was with you right now, my, how we could converse about it all! 🤣

I haven't done it for years, but I really love taking the train from Boston to NYC.

My wife loves trains (and hates flying) so for her every-so-often hegira to the holy land (south Georgia (USA)), it's a cross-continent ride. First-class sleeper, of course. She's a "journey" girl; I'm a "destination" boy, so the ride is less of a joy for me. Are we there yet?

Oh boy. Amtrak is certainly an adventure. I still love it though. (And WELCOME! I'm facilitating a watercolor workshop on Thurs evening, otherwise I'd come support in DC!)
