yeah but for the most part SO only pushes a couple boundaries that we've already seen pushed in SR, and breaks very few boundaries the only chips that do smth unique are piercing shots, homing shots, knockback and squid attack. they could be doing so much more for single player splatoon

I did a run yesterday with dualies that focused only on rush attack + multiple dodge roles. Felt like playing grizzco dualies and I could one-shot most things. But combos like that are few and far between, I really wanna see the roguelike formula iterated on and expanded.
