I'd also look into figuring out how to safely offer deep enough substrate - egg chambers in the wild are usually at least a foot down. If it's not deep enough, they might not even bother to lay eggs.

True! Too bad there're not many commercially available enclosures with deep enough substrate basins 😭 My partner and I have been experimenting with custom building our own enclosures. I'm likely going to end up making my own so they can have the depth to encourage breeding.
