Friends, I’m not here to tell anyone what to do with their art, but a for-profit-operation that charges for tickets really should be paying artists. The opportunity to give your work away “for exposure” isn’t a prize, kids. It’s taking advantage. #WarriorNun #WarriorNunSaved
They would have also been added to the pool of possible ticket winners & it is not like the company would have owned the pictures afterwards. No one needs to enter. I liked the idea. I really miss the fanart/fanedits/fanfiction competitions that existed im the abime comunity when I was in there.
An official banner for an event is a Big Deal for branding. Shame on them for taking advantage of fans instead of hiring a designer
Oh gross, they still have a chance to back pedal and say 'oops forgot to add that part pay is xx.xx" and save some face. Hope they take it
in my line of work i've had many promoters asking artists to perform for 'exposure'... you wouldn't dare to ask a plumber, a marketing agency, a building company or other professions to work for 'exposure'! you want good quality you pay for it! #WarriorNunTrilogy #WarriorNun #WarriorNunSaved
