Yes, there is always a delay and I haven’t been able to find an explanation for it. One local pharmacy chain only stocks Peds doses or adult doses, but not both-it’s to keep them from mixing them up (though I would think pharmacists would be more than able to handle that)
Don’t even get me started on the slow roll out for pediatric vaccines in general. Or the fact that some but not all locations carry pediatric doses…
