Someone needs to explain why peeing after sex is a thing. It doesnā€™t have to be this way, maā€™am.

My understanding of the Holocaust was shaped by reading Anne Frankā€™s diary and then learning about the Holocaust in my history class in school. Today Frankā€™s book ends up on book banning lists as a target text. Weā€™re not fond of looking at the difficult parts of history in the United States.

I find it makes students much more amenable to learning when I acknowledge how tired they are. It helps even more when I admit Iā€™m just as tired as they are. ļæ¼ Sometimes, the look of relief on their face just to be seen is everything. ļæ¼

Even when we know that access, universal design, and accommodation that is available to all makes an appreciable difference to society as a whole, our government is hostile to those of us who are disabled, which merely illustrates how deeply rooted ableism is in our culture.

Or people should be respectful of others. Itā€™s not difficult to not harass someone on social media. Itā€™s not on YOU to accommodate them because they are not respectful. Those who choose to harass others are the problem. The response shouldnā€™t be ā€œget smaller.ā€ It should be to scold the aggressor.

Itā€™s a basic public health issue that desperately needs attention, but instead our politicians areā€¦<waves hands around >ā€¦doing whatever this is.
