Atton Rand in KOTOR 2, the writer was Chris Avellone. The first time I ever encountered romance in a game at all was in KOTOR 1. But the first one that ever made me FeEl ThInGs was KOTOR 2, and that blew my mind at the time.
That's so cool. Those games were some of my first choose your own narrative style games and they opened my eyes to the entire crpg genre.
