I always always always find timeline errors when copyediting novels. Other copyeditors say the same. I even find them when working for other copyeditors - who know about this stuff, and are still too close to see them. They can be such a puzzle to explain, too 😁 #writingcommunity#amediting
Best thing I ever started doing as an indie who does their own formatting is using styles on Word/Google Docs. It makes everything SO MUCH EASIER down the line because three clicks later, basically your whole doc is reformatted for paperback with only minor tweaks/clean up. Also, stop using tab.
