Could be. If I had to guess, the market inefficiency is defensive ability.

I haven't done the analysis but my gut feeling is coaches usually do better in their second or third coaching job. But maybe that is because a lot of rookie coaches start on bad teams (doesn't necessarily apply to Keefe though) and second jobs are with better teams.

I am not saying it is impossible, I just think it is very unlikely. I think the league has changed a lot in the past 15 years. More teams tanking and taking on massive rebuilds leading to more talent on top contenders and more padding rosters at trade deadline.

That's 15 Stanley Cups ago.

I have some of the same concerns about Dallas. Johnston, Stankhoven, Harley, Bourque are all very young. Hard to find teams with that many young players on their roster winning the Cup.

I think the Devils are likely still a couple years away from being true Cup contenders. Just look how long Edmonton's core of McDavid, Draisaitl, Nugent-Hopkins, Nurse, etc. took to make serious runs in the playoffs.

Donald Trump loses this debate because it should be abundantly clear to everyone that he is the least qualified of the four top ticket candidates to be president.

I suspect some of today's buzz technologies will be the same. Will everyone wear their fancy glasses all the time in 10 or 20 or 30 years? I highly doubt it. Will it find special case uses? Sure.

I equate this to voice recognition. In the mid 1990's it was the buzz. Bill Gates suggested it would be the primary form of interacting with computers, ahead of mouse and keyboard. Voice recognition is here. It has its niche. But 30 years later not many people dictate e-mails into their computers.

My issue with BUF is I think their forwards are still too young. Their offense 2 years ago was led by a career year by Tage Thompson and a resurgent Jeff Skinner and unlikely to be repeated. I am just not sure Cozens, Krebs, Benson, Quinn, Peterka, etc. are quite there yet to lead BUF to playoffs.
