My October viewing in 2023 was very American, so I've made a deliberate attempt to leave out American films this year. More British, Italian, Asian options instead. Also Mexican, a country I don't think I've explored before outside of del Toro and Rodriguez.

I do want to - finally - watch The Thing, though. So that's one non-negotiable US film on the list. It's been more than long enough.
