when i was in labor & my epidural wore off i cry-asked the nurse "how did people do this like 500 years ago" and she said "well a lot of them just died!". terrible thing to hear at the time, but true

This graph is astonishing. The people that bang on about “natural birth” and “women have been doing this forever without help” need to be forced to stare at this until their eyes water.
