At LucasArts, it was a thrill to get to determine a lightsaber color and I think they/we did a relatively good job keeping things consistent within licensed product, but with anything beyond that, all bets were off.
Licensing would approve lightsaber colors but that all ended up getting overwritten during production of Episode II.
I love seeing these pillars of the Star Wars collecting community come together like this.
I've since added dozens of options for Subtype (ie Vehicle Type:speeder, Device:Medical, Slang:Curse, Alien:Mammalian, Huttese word, Music Track.)
I don't use the fields Aliens (diet, disposition) and Group Orgs (Goals) a whole lot. For locations, I track Region, Sector, System, and Grid Coordinates. There's a field for LEGO/Visions. Legends is its own field.
That's about all I'm willing to share as far as images of the Holocron go. The fields are pretty straightforward having started with Behind the Magic as a foundation. Some fields like foreign language translation and timeline have become obsolete, replaced with other systems.
In the context of this series, what does the red framing mean? That’s one way to delineate behind the scenes, Legends, and build instructions. Not really a stretch to think an Ebon Hawk existed and had a reputation. But I wouldn’t go far as to say any of those specific story points are canon.
I’m in the Wook discord if you ever want to reach out there.
They had more liberties to create info earlier on. That is almost never the case these days. Even with stats, we’ll leave stat info as unknown rather than invent.
I’d say around six years ago, I started noting in Holocron entries the issues from each series those entries appeared as a main article. We’ve received articles for entries that have appeared in up to 4 different series in the last handful of years. We review the articles for new info each time.
