I know none of these are THAT bad, I've literally experienced all of them today, and am ready to have a full blown meltdown.
Similarly, anyone who gets on an express line and then flips out that it won't stop where they want. Your lack of awareness is not the driver's fault.
People who get on a bus without knowing where it goes, and get mad when it's going "the wrong way" Look, riding the bus is a valid way for homeless folks to stay warm, especially in places with no other resources. But the bus route books are free. It's not the drivers fault you didn't pay attention
People who choose to sit right next to someone else when there are tons of open seats. These people are always fucking creeps. ALWAYS. I've never had interactions with these people leave me feeling remotely glad they sat next to me.
Keeping with people who are too loud. People who watch videos or listen to music without headphones. You suck, and your taste in media also sucks.
Similarly, anyone who has conversations loud enough that I can hear them over my noise canceling headphones. Look, y'all can talk if you want, but fucking move next to eachother and talk at a normal volume. Stop yelling your conversation to each other from across the bus.
The people who continue to try to have a conversation with you after you tell them you're not interested. Like, I have headphones in and am reading a book. That alone should be enough to be left alone, but when I specifically say "I want to be left alone" and they keep trying? Fuck them.
As someone who commutes via the bus for 3-4 hours every day, here's thread of different kinds of bus riders that I fucking hate.
