Working myself through three modern Russian sci-fi movies, all of them for the second time. It’s not that fun, considering how BAD modern Russian cinema is. At least they have great visuals.

I can honestly say that I think quality cinema from Russia died with the Soviet Union. Sometimes great pain creates great art, there’s no painting without pain, etc etc
