9. Birds of prey have 4 toes or digits, usually 3 forward toes and 1 rear. But owls and osprey (sometimes called fish hawks) have an opposable digit, which allows them to better carry their quarry to safety for eating. One of their toes rotates to allow 2 toes forward and 2 rear.

10. The last one. If you're made it here, please give me a follow! Osprey are the only birds of prey that actually dive into the water after their food. Other hawks/ eagles skim the surface when fishing. Osprey will completely submerge to chase prey. Excellent photos of an Osprey diving as a bonus.
