this is so magical- it captures the moment so perfectly, the shadows' placement, the brightness of the day, the swooping line of the smoke- the glint in HDB's eyes and blue reflection on Kim's glasses i love the brushes' shapes, like the rakes on the floor, and the way the background was drawn sm
OH I JUST NOTICED THE WAY YOU DREW HIS NOSE- i love this way so much!!!! that's the way i also draw his nose
oh the way you drew bodily hair so organically, the perspective, the line-weight, the hair shape, what looks to be a detail of sweat, his battered hands, and gunshot wound - and my favorite detail - what looks to be several white hairs on his head i also love the way you drew the tiles on the walls
reference for Dora's figure taken from the site Drawthis, but HDB i drew by myself
i like the detail of showing wrinkles on his forehead- it's an often omitted detail, but it adds so much history to a face
his features are drawn so uniquely here, i like the way you filled in the black of his uniform- the strokes feel like the wind pastels are becoming a medium i really enjoy so i'm real happy seeing Jean drawn in this medium
ah the colors on this! i really like them, they evoke a specific feeling of grounded reality, tinted by experience and time, the unordinary ordinary as i like to call it
this comment made my day! i'm glad you got inspired, thank you!
