Sure, that's a good way, but certainly doesn't give one the right intuition on a 4d object overall. A 4-ball / 3-sphere is easy because of it is symmetric, but slices through 3d cube can be crazy (hexagons, how?). How does the 4d double-rotation look for you? en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rotatio...
i can't really describe it to another but this is simple in my head. assuming for illustrative purposes you're always doing at least one rotation/fold in dimension(n-max) i just... collapse in/out and then rotate in one normal spatial direction
It doesn't. I cannot visualise that. I can do very basic shapes like I mentioned
