D&D min-maxers get a lot of shit, but tbh people who go super far in the opposite direction to not listen or engage with other player characters are doing and act against the party at all times because "it's what my character would do" are *super* obnoxious as well

Id argue theyre worse than the min maxers, at least in my experience Min Maxers can (not always) add to the game- good roleplay, interesting tactics, taking advantage of their freakshow characters to do fun things the people who never engage always take away from the session, never adding something
