For everyone new to Blue Sky (like me!), by way of introduction: the first 40m of this video is my recent presentation to the Transport Planning Society of insights on what works - and what doesn’t - when it comes to implementing traffic reduction schemes www.youtube.com/watch?v=62dn...

Reducing Traffic – what is Possible?

Anyone do research on Low Traffic Neighbourhoods, or wants to? We have an updated shapefile of LTNs and their associated modal filters... Publicly available here, accurate to August 2024. Includes all LTNs back to 2015. Tell us if you spot any errors! blog.westminster.ac.uk/ata/projects...

Definitely more than evocative than ‘textured pea-protein pie’!

I do wonder if such major constitutional change in either direction should require more than a simple referendum majority. It might encourage a bit of consensus-building before upending everything.

Young drivers already can’t drive each other around until they’ve passed a test - it is already a privilege only by Licence. The AA are just suggesting a further 6 months to gain experience before the Licence is extended to allow that. I can’t see any issue- it is nothing to do with criminalising.

That is a genuine question I don’t pretend to have the answers but the space is limited and far more people want to moor in Central London than certain areas can cope with so there needs to be some equitable way to resolve this doesn’t there? What does that look like?

CRT are having to pick up impacts of a housing crisis. Having lived by Canal for a long time it has become much more intensively used with boats now often double+ parked in Hackney. It is causing problems, especially the smoke which is now horrendous for half the year. How should this be managed?

And just as disingenuous and frankly unpleasant to engage with.
