I reeeeaaaaally want to go back to furry cons this year so Iโve been working on characters to draw for merch and came up with these
Hopefully the expectations aren't too high because I'm sure I won't deliver a masterpiece I just want to finish this and find peace and maybe move on
It's tricky but I'm anchoring the story on the real feelings I've had carrying this concept with me for almost half of my life and the guilt that comes with an abandoned comic and nostalgia and all that crap
It's an awkward process because the protagonists were self inserts of us. I'm currently taking a looser approach to them trying to find a balance between originality and faithfulness without ever being disrespectful to them.
Ok I'm actually writing this comic now. I pray and hope to at least have one chapter done this year. This was originally a bigger comic I was making with my friends back when we were 15. For now I'm making a shorter version (7 ch. kinda episodic, kinda serialized) to permanently say goodbye to it
The academy feels kinda underbaked tbh. I don't really understand the thought process of giving you a world to explore and then also expecting you to stay for the classes. It seems like it would be a good challenge if they pulled it off correctly but nothing really has you coming back there
