The modern role of journalists is to create, or at least comment on rumours of mayhem in government. Competent administrations don't create headlines. There's very little objective evidence of how well Labour are governing.

Because, I'm sorry to say this, Jews see themselves as a race apart. Catholics, Buddhists, etc. are not defined by their religion and, therefore, can be viewed as individuals. Jews seem to want to be defined by their faith and that carries with it certain misconceptions.

I'm not sure Isaacson's hagiography is truly objective. I gave up reading the hero worship after the third chapter.
