I got extremely lucky - if I remember right Network accidentally put it on pre-order on the day they announced it at a wrong, slightly lower price. However, Network being good guys they honoured the price for those of us who'd ordered it. A lot of my DVD/BR collection came from those guys.
I've got the Norwegian Blu-ray set too - it's utterly wonderful.
