At some point broilers just became an offshoot of the oven, rather than doing what they're for: constant high level downward-radiant heat. Tired of having them shut off without my order when I'm trying to do something.

So damn annoying! I usually leave a pair of tongs or something to keep the oven door cracked. Still goes off occasionally, but not as often.
