Horror Day 10: The Watchers (2024) It's very okay. For an early directorial outing, it's fine. The twist is very obvious. The creatures look cool. But it just plods.
Horror Day 9: I Saw the TV Glow Deeply weird but also relatable for anyone who spent formative years 'on the outside'. Also has a plot for both the trans folks and anyone who escaped into TV shows (with what feels like autism coding as well). Overall good, not sure what to do with the end though.
Horror Day 8: Ghostwatch Somehow I missed this, and oh what I would have given to have BBC1 in 1992. A ghost 'documentary' shown on major TV, War of the Worlds-style. I can see why people freaked out.
Happy birthday!
Horror Day 7: Oddity Slow burn, but a good one. Irish ghost flick with a lot of character and some fun at the end.
Happy birthday!
Horror Day 6: Hell Hole (2024) This movie is so much fun. Absolutely fun to watch. And surprisingly very good science behind its concept. The monster is also just pure fun. Loved it.
Horror Day 5: Don't Look at the Demon I looked, I shouldn't have. The writing is just dumb. Acting is okay, but the effects are sometimes funny and sometimes so cringe. Also, why are all these people white but it's in Malaysia?!
Ahhh, that makes more sense
Heck...yes
