Water based! A thicker lube and a lube shooter goes a long way. I mix my own with jlube powder and I also use a little “Slippery Stuff” gel. It’s an experiment to find the right combo :)

I’d wait until you find a plug/lube combo that works during the day long-ish term. My two big goals are: comfort and does it feel lubed still? Does it still feel that way after 5-8hrs of doing random things throughout a day? If you can mostly forget it’s there you’ll probably be fine! :3
