And I'm so grateful for the monthly Zoom sessions I have with fellow dev editors and indexers. This kind of connection is crucial when you don't have a typical office to report to.
I love how so many sessions connected back to each other; many speakers simultaneously acknowledged the difficulties of solitary, intellectual work while also emphasizing the need for accountability and regular self-assessment. #ACESVCON24#AmEditing
It's wild how much #ACESVCON24 restored me. I wasn't burnt out, but I feel completely inspired, full of new ideas, and reconnected to the editing community.

I keep a Google Doc tbh. URLs do stop working, so it's good to have an actual copy of a recipe, but most of my doc is just pasted links.
(Just messing around. AI comments always annoy me/give me the Uncanny Valley creeps.)
I agree. It can be difficult to imagine the purpose of AI-generated comments on social networking sites intended for informal social interactions. This is in contrast to occupation-oriented websites, where one may be perfectly able to imagine the place AI comments have in the fast-paced landscape.
