twitter is not locking you out as a punishment. AI companies are aggressively scraping the site for data & if they let it continue twitter's servers could go down. that's why there are temporary rate limits. i've heard that if you clear your cookies your "rate limit" will reset.

Oh I dont think its 'punishment', I know its internal issues. I was barely active yesterday so I know I didn't hit a limit or something.
