the main stacks left to get off the couch are, funnily enough, my ttrpg collection; i havent decided where to put it, i dont think theyll fit on the shelf i was planning to use for my other books
hes a good sport tho and lets me pet him anyways
the move is going well otherwise tho
incision seems fine but i am acquiring bruises on top of my testopel bruises i fear
really its "after trying to move heavy furniture within 24 hours of a testopel appointment," but that was tuesday so it doesnt count
but jess, i like you too much to beef :(
this is not the first time ive found out someone was onesided beefing with me while i thought absolutely nothing of it. idk what it is about me that inspires this kind of thing... does this mean ive made it on social media?
the books in question: Making Comics by Lynda Barry (walks you through a semester art class focused on shaping your relationship to your art and how you see/think as an artist) Making Comics by Scott McCloud (a more academic approach breaking down the comic creator's narrative & visual tools)
i can tell already im not interested in keeping the art style lynda barry requires in her exercises. but i'm really excited to see where the *mindset* she's cultivating here takes me
but thats just due to a clash of preferences and personality. i really respect what shes aiming for here, and im interested in trying out these exercises - especially in combination with scott mccloud's book, which comes at this from a totally different angle
