my rule of thumb is usually “if i’m interacting with it for 4+ hours a day, it’s probably worth getting in good quality” doesn’t necessarily mean it has to be expensive, but being thoughtful about my clothes, car, home office setup, etc. have really paid dividends over the past few years!

That's a good assessment too. Makes sense, so you have to spend less on repairs or replacing too. Separating office from bedroom was also a good move for me, mentality wise. Bedroom is for sleeping and dressing, not work or gaming lol Now I pass out in a few minutes, don't even look at my phone.
