Yeah. We got lucky. Just hunkering down, waiting it out, helping how we can, you know? Incredible mutual aid happening everywhere. Lots of helpers.

But we're dying for more help. Nobody's getting turned away and nobody's getting arrested. My friends who are cops can't arrest anybody because they don't have resources at the jails to keep them. They're going on DV calls and all they can do is wag their fingers.

People still call it Fort Bragg. Culture changes slowly.

Lots of supplies are coming in but distribution is hard. Gas was in really short supply, and folks trapped by trees/mudslides who didn't have cell service don't appear on flood disaster plans for S&R. Cell service was out but has slowly coming back. Most trees are cleared by citizens with chainsaws.

It's Fort Liberty now.

And there are absolutely National Guard units out here and they're airlifting into the airport.
