I’m pretty sure I’m not the only one on here whose understanding of CCS is weaker than other technologies. If you’ve time to create a thread, would it be worth outlining the main arguments put forward for CCS and why they are wrong? It seems pitched as a pragmatic necessary evil.

If you understand CCS relatively well and can offer an unbiased explanation of the pros and cons, I’d be really interested in it. It’s clearly pitched as a ‘necessary evil’ as opposed to a clean and renewable technology like solar or wind, but I don’t understand this as well as other technologies.
