There's actually one in Austin that's right next to one of our high frequency bus routes (Mayfield Dairy Queen). So it's definitely possible to find DQa inside larger cities. Just...you're unlikely to see them downtown cities larger than about...50k maybe?

Also depends massively on what you're posting about. You can only really get away with posting mainstream stuff or surface-level tech content here. Deep tech and niche stuff only really works on the fediverse ime (for now).

There are some weird non-linearities that I haven't quite put my finger on yet. Tentatively: If you have a small number of followers, you'll get more engagement on fedi. If you have a medium number of followers (250-1000), you'll get more engagement on bsky. If you have more, probably fine on both
