Also anyone whoâs in the former whose advice for this is along the lines of âsometimes youâll want to end it but you just have to grit through itâ should (and will, at least by me) be blocked on sight. There should be absolutely no space for that âadvice.â Can think of a few I muted for this reason.
Just an observation, and not even sure itâs a useful one: whenever mental-health-in-grad-school discourse is taking place the conversation always seems to be dominated by faculty/folks who already have PhDs. Always very few current students in the replies/QTs.
